Announcing Catholica Omnia
Posted by Tom Pringle on Apr 10, 2010 in Catholica Omnia News | 0 commentsI hope that everyone’s Saturday has been tremendously blessed with lots of rest and relaxation. I am taking the opportunity I have today to begin working on my last paper of the year and a homily for Catechism class. If I do not finish this weekend, Monday and/or Tuesday will suffice.
Over the last several months, as I am sure you have noticed, I have begun to cover different things on my blog. When I began the blog it was to keep all of my family and friends up-to-date on my progress as a seminarian and the struggles, challenges, and opportunities that being in the seminary present to a young man discerning God’s will. However, as the seminary has allowed me to grow in love for the Catholic Church, I feel that it is time to begin branching out, to begin covering even more news on the Catholic Church. Therefore, I am announcing that within the next week, the “Thomas Pringle Vocation Blog” will become “Catholica Omnia.” For all of those who are
not well versed in Latin (myself included–I had a friend come up with the name), that means “All Things Catholic” or “Everything Catholic” (whichever you prefer is fine with me).
However, this new name does not mean that I am going to strictly cover news about the Church. I will be continuing to post updates on my seminary experience and my vocation here. The web address will also not change; you will still be able to find me at http://www.thomaspringle.com. I hope all of you are as excited about this new change as I am. It gives me more opportunities to grow in my love for the Church by explaining the true facts on reports that, often times, attack the Bride of Christ. Catholica Omnia will go live in a few short days (or maybe earlier). Stay tuned.
UPDATE: Welcome to Catholica Omnia!!
